So everyone wants their house to be unique, special, different: but often, what you deem unique is actually something you see in a lot of houses. So here's 5 details that can make your house feel pretty, and also add a little bit of charm to your home.
1. Add Crown Molding around your switchplates:

No seriously, doesn't that just make a room feel complete? no open edges! plus nice if there's some spotting around your edges.
2. Fabric Walls

Use water and starch to attach it to your walls. A great option if you don't want to paint, or if you change your home decor frequently( it peels right off!)

Incredibly simple, just line out where you want your calender do be and get some chalkboard paint( or make it, directions here) and voila! I think this would be particularly nice if you have kids that are really busy.
4. Mouse House Night Light

is this not the most adorable thing ever? Full article here.

#5 Fire Glass

alright strictly speaking this is more for your patio then your house, but it's soooo much better than having a fire pit.Fire glass produces more heat than real wood, and is also environmentally friendly. There is no smoke, it’s odorless and doesn’t produce ash. You are able to stay toasty warm without cutting down trees and the specially formulated glass crystals give off no toxic deposit. Also, it looks totally badass :)

Hope this helped you get inspired for your home!
